The Properties view is a generic Eclipse view that can be used to visualize and update properties of the object that is currently selected.




Depending on the data type of a property the value control can be a simple text field, a drop down or even more complex dialog editor for collection properties.


Properties for some diagram elements can also be set through wizard like properties editor dialogs, the dialog can be open by double-click on the diagram element - not for elements that have a diagram attached like database, partition, area.
